The NC WoCRN is a statewide network of researchers representing academia, government, and industry. North Carolina is the second regional chapter of the NIH WoCRN, established in 2014. The NIH WoCRN was established to address challenges faced by women and minorities entering and advancing in scientific careers. The mission of the NC WoCRN is to promote career advancement by broadening participation of women researchers and scientists of color, establishing collaborations and partnerships, multi-level mentoring, outreach, and professional networking.
