Sustainable Energy Speaker Series: Landon Williams, Senior Public Engagement Specialist at Duke Energy

 Landon Williams has helped shape and implement a variety of initiatives that go beyond what some might consider the “normal” utility business. Williams will discuss: • The Smart Saver Business program that has provided over $125 million in incentives and direct rebates to commercial and institutional clients to support energy efficiency upgrades • Duke’s work on battery storage, which is critical to the expansion of the state’s renewable energy portfolio • The increasing importance of developing mutually beneficial relationships as the utility industry undergoes dramatic change in preparation for a less carbon-intensive future • Career advice for students
