Honors senior Madeline Hamiter needs help with research for her Honors thesis. She is asking if you would be willing to take this short (less than 10 minute) multiple choice survey. For her Honors thesis, Madeline is conducting research for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society's 2019 research challenge. To learn more about the CFA Institude, read what follows here:
The CFA Institute is the premier global association for investment management professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence and credentials. It also offers the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation, and the Investment Foundations Certificate.
My team is participating in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, which gathers students, investment industry professionals, publicly traded companies, and corporate sponsors together locally, regionally, and globally for an annual competition. In order to promote best practices in equity research and company analysis, students research, analyze, and report on a company as if they are practicing analysts. The team’s final presentations are locally evaluated by a panel of three judges. The local champions advance to regional competitions for the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and then to the Global Final. Our team won the local round in February and are conducting research for the Americas Regional Round on April 24th.
