"Say What" Week

Join us the week of November 12th for a week long worth of events to celebrate "Say What" week!

Any student who wants to submit a question for the panel should click here to complete the form.  

Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, the Residence Hall Association, and the Student Government Association are partnering to bring a week of programming to campus focused on First Amendment Rights and Freedom of Expression and will feature the following events:

  • Opening Keynote Toussaint Romain, a Public Defender and Civil Rights Advocate from Charlotte
  • Closing Keynote Stewart Harris,  a nationally syndicated radio host and professor of law at Lincoln Memorial University
  • A panel discussion overlapping SGA's Senate meeting with Students, Faculty, & Staff
  • Free Speech 101 Program
  • So You Want to Protest? Program
  • Multiple Podcasts to extend the dialogue 
  • Other exciting events to be announced soon including a professional development for faculty and staff and an event focused on civic engagement led by the Student Government Association (SGA)!
