Honors Alumnus ('14) and Chancellor's Scholar Corbin Ester has been accepted to Harvard Medical School Pathways program as well as to UNC Chapel Hill's Medical School for 2017. After graduating from The Honors College at App, Corbin took a Postbacculaureate Intramural Research Training Award (Postbac IRTA/CRTA) working in the lab of Dr. Paul S. Meltzer, Chief of the Genetics Branch of the National Cancer Institute, and Head of the Molecular Genetics Section at the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, MD. Corbin is currently an IRTA Fellow at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. He is waiting to hear from several other medical schools before making his decision about where to attend in the fall. Congratulations, Corbin!
