Honors students Savannah Ray and Maddison Stasziewicz (shown here, Savannah middle, Maddie right) with one of their mentors, Dra. Magdalena) have spent the month of June at the Universidad de las Americas Puebla (UDLAP) in Cholula (near Puebla). Both were shadowing at the medical school, learning about medical student training and health care delivery. All four honors students at UDLAP this summer have had great learning experience, but as Dr. Casas, the host for Maddie and Savannah, reported “Savannah & Maddison are very good students and I think they will be an excellent doctors; here in Puebla they had a good [eobservation] in Private and Public Medicine, and knew the Mexican Health System. I was so happy with them. Congratulations!”
