Dear Honors students, faculty, staff, friends,
Our Appalachian Honors Association (AHA!) is the wonderful engine of the Honors College community, creating events that knit us together and opportunities for socializing, involvement, teamwork, leadership, and service.
In a future Honors Wednesday Memo, we will thank our current AHA! Executive Team for their awe-inspiring leadership during the challenges of COVID, and for keeping us together over the past three semesters. Today, in our Spotlight Story below, we introduce our just-elected new AHA! Executive Team in their own words: Abigail Burchard, Elizabeth Haslam, Zoe Storm, Alisa Duong, Abbey Martin, Ella Brose, Anne Carroll, and MJ Finney! Please join me in celebrating their commitment to the Honors College and Honors students across the campus, and in thanking them for their eagerness to lead. I look forward to our good work together, and to continuing to build a world-class Honors community.
Yours,
Jeff
