Curriculum Vitae:
Teaching Experience:
Though trained as a Nineteenth Century American scholar, my professional interests have evolved in, perhaps, predictably eclectic ways since my dissertation was on Henry Thoreau. My recent scholarship has been largely pedagogical: studying the effects of Web forum posting on student performance on other course related tasks.
Why I like to teach honors courses:
I enjoy working with Honors students because of a wonderful combination of excitement about learning abetted by flexible intelligence and strong motivation to succeed.
