The use of mobile technologies has grown exponentially and cannot be ignored by current museum professionals. Museums across the United States have opportunities to expand the realm of how a museum is experienced by exploring possibilities of mobile platforms. Networking with audiences in modern technologies allows for more diverse publics to come in contact with museums and thus allows museums to stay relevant in today's society. Inclusion of mobile devices and other technologies can help to create a greater number of visitors participating in exhibits within and outside of museums.
