Honors rising Junior and geology major, Devin Hoffman, has been awarded a $7,500 Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship from the Excellence in Education Foundation. He is one of 252 undergraduate sophomores and juniors across the nation and three in North Carolina to receive the award this year. The Honors College Congratulates Devin along with his mentor, Department of Geology Professor Andy Heckert, who was a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship recipient in 1991, and Dr. Dale Wheeler, the Director of the Prestigious Scholars Program and Devin's Academic Mentor in the Honors College, for this achievement.
