In the Honors College, Dr. Klima is the Academic Mentor for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) majors. He is also an Honors Faculty member teaching Honors seminars like HON 2515: Math & Fairness in Democratic Elections, and the study abroad course HON 3515: Secret Codes during World War II. In Appalachian's Department of Mathematical Science, Dr. Klima is both Professor and Assistant Chair.
