Honors Seniors Travel to Copenhagen for FENS Meetings

This summer, Honors rising Seniors Rachel Sledge and Elisabeth Moore represented IMPULSE, the Premier Undergraduate Journal of Neuroscience, at the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) meetings in Copenhagen, Denmark. At the conference, Rachel (Editor in Chief of IMPULSE) and Elisabeth (Managing Editor) presented their findings on IMPULSE's place in undergraduate research education. Rachel reported that they “had a wonderful time learning about new advances in the field, and connecting with other students and scientists.” She further shared that outside the conference, “we also took full advantage of our trip to Scandinavia to fully immerse ourselves in the city's culture: riding bikes, exploring the markets, and relaxing in the public gardens. Copenhagen is known for being a major cultural and heritage center, and we particularly enjoyed visiting Rosenborgslot (the home of the crown jewels), the Danish History Museum, and the Danish Museum of Design.” They also visited Malmo, Sweden and Oslo, Norway, on their Scandinavian adventure!
