The Spring 2016 Honors College Graduation was held Friday May 13. In this ceremony, sixty-six students received the Honors medal, and earned the distinction of University Honors. Our graduates have taken flight giving their song to the world. The Honors College wishes them every success and follows their bright futures with pride and great interest. In this graduation ceremony, we also honored distinguished faculty members who served our Honors students during their time at Appalachian including Drs. Leslie Sargent Jones (Special Award Winner), Dale Wheeler (Special Award Winner), Johnny Waters (Special Award Winner), Chris Osmond (Teacher of the Year), and Nathan Mowa (Mentor of the Year).
