Matthew Streets, a sophomore Honors College student and history major delivered an address on: The Myth of the Southern Gentleman at the Annual International Southern Studies Conference on February 9, 2018 at Auburn University. His Academic Mentor, Professor Louis Gallien, of The Honors College chaired a session at the same conference titled: Manifold Ideas of the South on the same day. The conference was sponsored by the Alabama Humanities Council along with Auburn University.
Matt Streets is from Pittsboro, NC. His brother is both an APP State graduate in political science and The Honors College. Matt plans on attending graduate school in History upon graduation.
