Message from Dean Jeff Vahlbusch

New HONORS Opportunity: Summer Research in MEXICO!

Dear Honors students (Honors College & departmental + WCOB Honors students),

This summer I traveled with colleagues to UDLAP, a wonderful private university in Puebla, Mexico, to forge connections that will help our Honors students (YOU!) and their Honors students.

Our first initiative:  creating Honors summer research opportunities with UDLAP faculty in your major or minor field.

We want to send our first group of Appalachian Honors students this coming summer, 2020, for a four-week research experience.  Some knowledge of Spanish is helpful, but not required.

Interested?

If you are interested, even just a little bit, please fill out this two-minute survey.

I'll be back in touch soon thereafter.

In future, we hope to build similar experiences around the world.

Jeff
