How to Stay Informed and Safe in Winter Weather

With the start of the Spring semester, we have snow covering the ground, ice interfering with everyday travel, and frigid temperatures. These factors can impact university operations, and mean class cancellations. It is important for students to be aware and stay safe. The University considers weather forecasts, road conditions, availability of public transportation, campus operations, and most importantly the safety of the campus community in making decisions. These decisions are communicated to students, faculty, and staff through email, web updates, social media, the University’s snow line, and local media outlets.
