Greetings Honors students!
As always, Kaylie has curated a wonderful list of opportunities in today’s Memo for you to invest in your well-being by getting involved around campus. I want to highlight one of these opportunities that supports your Honors experience. Taylor Carrillo, our wonderful Honors College graduate assistant, is offering a series of thesis support workshops. Taylor is here to support you on your thesis journey. While you may not be writing your thesis if you are in your first year or two, you should start then by observing, asking questions, and building connections with potential faculty mentors. These workshops will help you both with those initial steps and in the final stages of your thesis if you are there already. In these sessions, Taylor will help with the technical aspects of the thesis, organize writing groups, offer citation advice, and arrange defense practices. Working together with our Honors community will make your whole thesis process more fulfilling. I hope you will join Taylor in working towards a positive, rewarding, and successful thesis experience.
Best wishes,
Vicky
