The purpose of this paper is to determine whether or not a recycling incentive program would be feasible in the Town of Boone and Watauga County. The paper first analyzes the local recycling industry as well as the RecycleBank incentive program, then administers a survey to understand the current and future recycling habits of those in the local community. Lastly a sensitivity analysis is used to determine the potential financial outcomes of an incentive program. The study shows that, while an incentive program is not feasible right now, one could be feasible in the near future.
