Avery Martin is double majoring in anthropology and applied and public history. She entered the Honors College and Appalachian State in Fall 2023 and plans to graduate in May 2027. She began working as an office assistant in the Honors College in January 2025. Avery has also served as a member of the Honors Vanguard since January 2024. After graduation, Avery hopes to pursue a PhD in archaeology, and focus on studying human evolution and ancient civilizations and societies.
