Viktoriia is originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She moved to Boone in 2018 and is proud to call it her second home.
She was always interested in finance and started her career in a bank. Her favorite part of the job was to interact with people and help them with all kinds of financial operations. When she moved to the United States she thought that she would look for a job in a bank again, but her experience of getting an M.B.A. degree at App State changed her career path. She had so much help and support from faculty and staff that she decided to come back to the Mountaineer family as an employee herself to give back to these amazing people and community.
She joined Honors College on August 1, 2023. The main drive that motivates her is to be able to be a part of this wonderful team and to support faculty and students during their sometimes
challenging but so interesting and exciting academic path. Her responsibilities include managing and administering financial operations of the College. She also serves as an executive assistant to the dean. Viktoriia loves the most to spend time with her family, especially little son Ronnie, she likes to cook, practice yoga, and to cozy up at home.
