Dr. Neva Specht, Honors faculty member and former assistant coordinator, named vice provost for faculty policies and development

Dr. Neva Specht has been named as Appalachian State University’s vice provost for faculty policies and development, effective Oct. 11. Dr. Specht is an Honors College faculty member who also served as the assistant coordinator for App State’s Honors Programs from 2001-2004. The last course she taught in Honors was Blue Ridge Parkway: Past, Present, and Future. She has served as dean of App State’s College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) since 2017.
