Two Appalachian State University faculty members affiliated with the Honors College have been selected for the 2020 BRIDGES Academic Leadership for Women program sponsored by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Vicky Klima, Honors academic mentor and professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and Dr. Megen Culpepper, assistant professor in the A.R. Smith Department of Chemistry and Fermentation Sciences and faculty director for Honors theses, were among the four App State faculty selected for this program. BRIDGES is a professional development program designed to help women in higher education identify, understand, and build their leadership roles in the academy.
