Wednesday, August 12th new Honors students spent the day in small groups each exploring a piece of their new home and community in Boone. Students visited with the Mayor Pro-Tem, Rennie Brantz (pictured here far right with students), Watauga County Humane Society, Hunger Coalition, Hospitality House, and numerous others. That afternoon students shared in presentations with each other what they discovered.
