The Brad and Carole Wilson Honors and Engagement Community - Home of the Honors Residential Community

First-year Honors students live in Cone Hall with an Honors roommate — building your community from your very first days at App State. Current Honors residents who apply during the priority housing period are placed in Summit Hall — making it easy to stay connected to the community year after year. Together, Cone and Summit connect directly to Appalachian Hall — the academic heart of the community — where you'll find Honors classrooms, advisors, and offices all in one place. Honors students also have after-hours access to Appalachian Hall with their student ID — whether you need a quiet place to study or just somewhere to land between classes and commitments.

Living here means built-in study partners, late-night conversations, and an active peer network that spans all four years. The community comes together throughout the year for monthly programming — social events to recharge and connect, sessions with campus partners like the Office of International Programs and Career Development, and opportunities to engage with the broader Boone community beyond campus.
