The Honors College International Education Scholarship is awarded exclusively to Honors students traveling abroad for a substantial experience (generally a minimum of two weeks) and earning academic credit. Scholarships typically average $100 per credit hour, up to a full-time award of $1,200, but can vary based on Honors College resources. Please note that the International Education Scholarship is awarded only once per student, so students planning to travel abroad more than once should plan accordingly.

We accept applications on a rolling basis, reviewing applications on the 15th of each month and communicating decisions by the end of that month. Awards will be credited to your student account as scholarships, and we encourage you to consult with a financial aid counselor to see how the award would fit into your aid package before accepting our offer. Don't forget that you must receive your award before your travel date.
