Viktoriia is originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine. She moved to Boone in 2018 and is proud to call it her second home.

She was always interested in finance and started her career in a bank. Her favorite part of the job was interacting with people and helping them with all kinds of financial operations. When she moved to the United States, she thought she would look for a job at a bank again, but her experience earning an M.B.A. at App State changed her career path. She received so much help and support from faculty and staff that she decided to return to the Mountaineer family as an employee to give back to these amazing people and community.

She joined the Honors College on August 1, 2023. The main drive that motivates her is to be able to be a part of this wonderful team and to support faculty and students during their sometimes
challenging but so interesting and exciting academic path. Her responsibilities include managing and administering the College's financial operations. She also serves as an executive assistant to the dean. Viktoriia loves spending time with her family, especially her little son Ronnie; she likes to cook, practice yoga, and cozy up at home.
