Message from Dean Jeff Vahlbusch

Dear Honors students, faculty, staff, friends,

Tomorrow—Thursday, March 4—is our annual #iBackAPP Day, a 24-hour giving day to benefit all of Appalachian State University. If you feel so moved today or tomorrow, you are welcome to make a gift, large or small, to the Honors College Fund, which benefits the entire college by funding scholarships and helping us build our Honors community (or give to any other college or program at this great university). Our very special thanks go to Honors College and Chancellor's Scholar alumni Steven ‘04 and Anna ‘05 Rubin, who have pledged to contribute $1000 as soon as 20 friends of the Honors College give on #iBackApp day!  If you can or can't give, please post photos of you in your favorite black and gold outfits, telling us why you love Appalachian, the Honors program or Honors College, and/or describing a favorite memory from our university at the hashtag #iBackAPP.

Am writing in gratitude for all of you, and for everyone's generosity of spirit, involvement, and purse.

Yours,

Jeff

Thank you everyone for supporting the Honors College in these important ways!
